About the course

This course teaches a working method for improving processes: mapping how work actually flows, identifying repetitive steps and their cost, designing automation with clear human checkpoints, and measuring the result.

It is taught as live workshops, using exercises drawn from the participants' own organisations, so the method is applied to real processes during the sessions.

On completion, a Certificate of Completion is issued.

What you will be able to do
  • Map a process as it actually runs, including exceptions
  • Identify and prioritise automation candidates
  • Design automated steps with named human checkpoints
  • Estimate the change in effort honestly
  • Measure results and keep the workflow maintainable

Questions

Common questions.

What does Process Automation & Workflow Optimization cover?

Workflow mapping, identifying repetitive work worth automating, designing automation with approval checkpoints and escalation paths, and measuring throughput and exceptions.

Is this course practical?

Yes. The final exercise is a documented analysis of a real workflow from the participant's own organisation, including an estimate of effort saved and a validation plan.

Do I need a coding background?

No. The course is built for analysts, engineers and managers; implementation detail is covered at the level needed to specify and judge automation work.
